October 19, 2012, Rick and Julie Sasser founded Florida Industrial Solutions, starting a remarkable adventure. Our first order, simple yet essential, was handled and sent from a table in our home. This small start quickly grew, and in just a year, our increasing stock filled a two-car garage. As our business grew, we used a storage pod in our driveway and our back Lanai for extra storage. Later, we rented our first warehouse in Punta Gorda, Florida, to organize our home and business better.
August 2017, with an eye on the larger Tampa market, we strategically relocated to Tampa, Florida. This carefully planned move allowed us to retain our customer base in Southwest Florida, from Charlotte to Collier counties, while expanding our reach.
September 2019, Another significant milestone occurred when we purchased our first facility in Tampa. This move led to long-term cost savings, improved operational control, and enhanced stability, solidifying our business's presence in the Tampa market and affirming our commitment to delivering exceptional services and products.
January 2024, we expanded our services to include full-time representation in Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties, allowing us to better serve existing and new customers. Our expertise in abrasives, fasteners, metal cutting tools, and safety products ensures that we meet the diverse needs of our clients in these markets, highlighting our dedication to excellence in service and product quality.
